Retired Athens attributes
These attributes have already been phased out and should never be seen. You should not expect to receive them and must ignore them if you do. They are listed here only as a transition aid.
persistentUID
A very old Athens specific identifier.
Example: "a7ab7e00:01618ce"
Instead use: targetedID (urn:oid:1.3.6.1.4.1.5923.1.1.1.10)

The users home organisation display name.
Example "NHS England"

The users role/affiliation. This is the same value as used by eduPersonScopedAffiliation.

The OpenAthens Persistent Identifier. A unique ID for the user that is provided for service providers migrating from the Athens Federation.
Example: "7ea0f303:019ae83"
Instead use: targeted ID (urn:oid:1.3.6.1.4.1.5923.1.1.1.10)
urn:mace:eduserv.org.uk:athens:attribute-def:person:1.0:groups
OpenAthens user group names. Used by OpenAthens identifiers to categorise sets of user accounts. Can have multiple values.
Example: "Scientific/Technical"
Instead use: role or entitlement values (urn:oid:1.3.6.1.4.1.5923.1.1.1.9 or urn:oid:1.3.6.1.4.1.5923.1.1.1.7).
urn:mace:eduserv.org.uk:athens:attribute-def:person:1.0:accountType
The OpenAthens account type. Used to differentiate between Access (shared) and Personal accounts.
Example: "6"
Instead use: role or entitlement values (urn:oid:1.3.6.1.4.1.5923.1.1.1.9 or urn:oid:1.3.6.1.4.1.5923.1.1.1.7)

The OpenAthens account username.
