Default email text

If you have modified an email template you will see a return arrow button has appeared next to the save button, and the icon in the list is dark instead of light.

Clicking the return arrow will reset the template to the default…

Row of buttons - 'Attach a file', 'Revert to default' and 'Save changes'.

… unless you have another organisation above yours with a customised template (in which case you will get that instead).

Those defaults are:

Account created (activation)

Default 'From' field (not editable), 'Reply-to' field, subject line, message text, and footer (not editable) of the 'Account created (activation)' email template.

Account moved

Default 'From' field (not editable), 'Reply-to' field, subject line, message text, and footer (not editable) of the 'Account moved' email template.

Account expiring

Default 'From' field (not editable), 'Reply-to' field, subject line, message text, and footer (not editable) of the 'Account expiring' email template.

Account created (password)

Default 'From' field (not editable), 'Reply-to' field, subject line, message text, and footer (not editable) of the 'Account created (password)' email template.

Password change confirmation

Default 'From' field (not editable), 'Reply-to' field, subject line, message text, and footer (not editable) of the 'Password change confirmation' email template.

Reset password

Default 'From' field (not editable), 'Reply-to' field, subject line, message text, and footer (not editable) of the 'Reset password' email template.

Anything to watch out for?

If you are in a hierarchy and the organisation above you has customised the email template, the return to default button will use that customised template as your default

The return to default option will instantly overwrite any customisations.
